Robert H. Johnston, Jr., M.D.

Robert H. Johnston, Jr., M.D., provides the Victoria clinic with over 30 years of vascular experience. Dr. Johnston graduated from Baylor University College of Medicine. He interned in Jefferson Davis Hospital, (now Harris County Hospital District), in Houston Texas. He has been a General Surgeon since 1958. He received his American Board of Surgery Certification in 1963, his American Board of Thoracic Surgery in 1964 and his American Board of Vascular Surgery in 1984.

Dr. Johnston has been a Senior Aviation Medical examiner for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)since 1994. He is appointed to the Cardiology Consulting Panel for the FAA. He is a member of the American Association of Vascular Surgeons, American College of Cardiology, American College of Surgeons and American Venous Forum.

Dr. Johnston is a Professor of Surgery at the Texas A&M College of Medicine, Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery, Baylor College of Medicine and Clinical Professor, Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, University of Texas at San Antonio.
